Beyond the Frame is an Erasmus+ project run by three partners: Macedonian Association of Applied Psychology in North Macedonia, Idee in Movimento in Italy, and ArtéTeka in Ireland. We use collage – cutting and sticking images to make art – because anyone can do it, whatever their language or background. Young people use it to explore their feelings, cope with stress, and share what matters to them. We also train youth workers so they can use these creative methods in their own work. The art young people make is shown in local exhibitions and in an online museum.
Beyond the frame Toolkit for youth workers
Below you can find a free, practical guide that helps youth workers use collage art to support young people. It explains how to run creative sessions where young people can explore their feelings, cope with stress, and speak up on issues that matter to them – step by step, with no art or mental health training needed. Made by youth workers, for youth workers, and free for anyone to use and adapt.
