| ROuTES is a collaboration between organisations in Ireland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Cyprus, funded by the Erasmus+ programme. ROuTES addresses the climate impact of tourism by encouraging local communities to develop tourist trails to showcase sustainable businesses and locations that are important to local people. Young people engaged in the project develop creative skills in videomaking and photography to direct tourists visiting Cork to explore the city sustainably. By engaging young people from marginalised backgrounds, ROuTES aims to build participants’ confidence and sense of pride in their local identities. |
